Artificial intelligence (AI) is not just a future trend; it is a current disruptor transforming how power is generated, delivered, and used. In power electronics, AI’s impact accelerates innovation while introducing new challenges. Recognizing this shift, PSMA is forming an AI Committee. The committee will be co-chaired by Trifon Liakopoulos and Chris Whaling, whose combined expertise spans power semiconductor technology, magnetic materials for power management components, AI-driven optimization, and strategic planning and Execution, ensuring a broad and inclusive foundation for this new initiative. This group will provide a forum for members to understand, anticipate, and shape the intersection of AI and power electronics.
