IEEE vTools
IEEE volunteers have developed vTools, a toolbox that simplifies administration by offering web-based software to help reduce time spent on managing activities and assist in membership development. vTools is sponsored by the IEEE Membership and Geographic Activities (MGA), which is responsible for IEEE membership and member development and serves the needs of IEEE members by supporting IEEE Sections, Chapters, and Branches. The toolkit contains tools in various phases of development, from production to pilots and active development.
To report a meeting, update officer contacts, or perform other administrative duties, please use IEEE vTools.
*To make a new report, first select an organizational unit. You can either type in the unit’s name or its SPO ID (a.k.a. geocode). When you start typing a name, the system will also use assistive technology to come up with a list of possible organizational units based on the typed text. Select a name in the drop-down menu shown and click on the “Select Unit” button to retrieve and display current officer data for the selected organizational unit.
