Time has come to say goodbye and hand over the reins to the next Editor-in-Chief (EiC) of IEEE Power Electronics Magazine. But, before I do that, let me first thank the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) executives and volunteers who gave me the opportunity to serve as the magazine’s first EiC when it was launched in 2014. I am very grateful to all them as it has been a very rewarding journey for me. Also, I want to thank the readers, PELS members, and the power electronics community worldwide, for supporting the magazine all these years. It makes me feel proud that in last 10+ years, we have collectively transitioned the PELS Newsletter into a successful award-winning magazine that is highly competitive with an excellent reputation in the industry. With our sincere and dedicated hard work, the magazine has become a reliable source of information for working power electronics engineers in the industry and researchers in academia, maintaining its mission of narrowing the gap between the two. The credit goes to the team comprising deputy Editorsin- Chief (EiCs), the members of the Magazine Advisory Board (MAB), and the PELS staff. Plus, all the peer reviewers and authors whose contributions have enabled the magazine to deliver valuable engineering and research data issue after issue. In essence, the team has ensured that the PELS Magazine remains a credible source of engineering information for the readers and PELS members.
