With great sadness, we lost a leader, a long-time friend, and a dear colleague in our Power Electronics Community, Dr. Zhengming Zhao, a professor at Tsinghua University, China, on 3 September 2025, in Beijing.
Zhengming was a long-time, proven, and dedicated volunteer of the IEEE Power Electronics Society, serving as Chair of the PELS Membership Committee (the predecessor of VP for Membership), Chair of the PELS Beijing Chapter, Member-at- Large of the PELS Administrative Committee, and on the PELS Nominations Committee.
