TC 1 organizes the following events:
Awards: TC 1 administers the IEEE PELS Modeling and Control Technical Achievement Award to honor outstanding and sustained contributions from innovators and researchers who advance the modeling and control of power electronics.
Publications: TC 1 occasionally proposes special issues to the IEEE Journal for Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics (JESTPE). The exact topic is dependent on the theme of COMPEL. TC 1 also proposes guest editors and supports the review of submissions.
