Advanced PMIC Empowers Motor Management

Addressing applications that include motor control in power tools, home appliances, industrial drives, robotics, and drones, the PSOC C3 family of microcontrollers from Infineon is based on the Arm Cortex-M33 running up to 180 MHz, with DSP and FPU capability.

The devices also contain advanced real-time control peripherals, such as a high-performance programmable analog subsystem, comparators, advanced timers with high-resolution capability, up to six SCBs, and two CAN FDs for communication. The devices support one Active and five low-power modes for managing and reducing the power consumption depending on application requirements. They also offer a range of low-power modes, security features, a flexible clocking system, a variety of digital and analog peripherals, and compatibility with industry-standard development tools.
