IEEE PELS Energy Storage Innovation Award

About the Award

The IEEE PELS Energy Storage Innovation Award recognizes an individual or a group (up to three people) for their outstanding innovations in battery and energy storage technologies that significantly exceed contemporary performance limits and have practical applications in communications energy systems.

Award Prize:

  • A certificate
  • An honorarium of 2,500 USD
  • Reimbursement of up to 1,000 USD towards the recipient’s necessary conference registration, travel, and accommodation costs incurred to attend the award ceremony
