Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics (JESTPE) Prize Paper Award

Beginning in 2015, the editorial committee of the IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics (JESTPE) recognizes one first prize paper and three second prize papers that were deemed the best papers among those published in JESTPE during the preceding calendar year.  Editors and associate editors can nominate only one paper each.  All nominations will then be voted on by the editorial board for the final selection.  The Editor in Chief of JESTPE chairs the process.

Criteria: The selection criteria are originality, contribution to the field, the extent to which the paper is supported by analysis and experimental evidence, and the quality of the presentation, including the effective use of illustrations.

Presentation:  The award is usually presented at ECCE America every year during the Awards Ceremony.

  • First Place: One-time monetary award of USD 1,000 (to be shared equally among authors)
  • Second Place: One-time monetary award of USD 500 (to be shared equally among authors)
