IEEE fellow is the highest grade of IEEE membership that is given only by the IEEE Board of Directors. A candidate must be an IEEE member for at least five years and is currently an IEEE Senior Member.
All materials are sent to the Fellows Committee, which reviews all nominations and prepares a ranked list. The total number of Fellow recommendations each year cannot exceed 0.1% of IEEE membership (excluding Student an Associate members).
For contributions to high-power-density power electronics and stability of electronic power systems
For contributions to high-power conversion in industrial applications and DC architectures
For contributions to advances in the modelling of planar magnetics and wireless power
For contributions to control and applications of multilevel converters
For contributions to power electronics for transportation electrification
For contributions to modeling and analysis of dual active bridge converters and switched capacitor converters
For contributions to multi-level converter modulation and controller synthesis for closed-loop converter operation
