We are the world’s leading technical conference and exposition for energy conversion solutions. ECCE is unique in its emphasis on integrated systems, presenting the best in current energy conversion research, as well as innovations from more traditional component topics. This pivotal international conference and exposition event is co-sponsored by the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) and the IEEE Industrial Application Society (IAS) on October 9-13 in Detroit, Michigan.
Together we innovate! Electrical energy conversion is a driving force to recent changes in both industry and our society. Our key-note speakers will be presenting break-through ideas and the latest advances in the fields of electrical and electromechanical energy conversion systems and technologies.
Professor, John E Pippin Chair and GRA Eminent Scholar Director, GT Center for Distributed Energy, ECE Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA
World-class speakers will be presenting during the conference. One of our key-note speakers, Dr. Deepak Divan will be sharing on Grid as an Ecosystem. This presentation will discuss what such a transition from ‘grid as a resource’ to ‘grid as an ecosystem’ entails and how it fundamentally changes the way we need to design and build grid-connected power converters and systems to enable this transformation of the energy system.
Dr. Deepak Divan has founded or seeded several companies, including Varentec in Santa Clara, CA, which was funded by leading green-tech Venture Capital firm Khosla Ventures and renowned investor Bill Gates, as well as Soft Switching Technologies, Innovolt and Smart Wires, which together have raised >$160M in venture funding.
ECCE 2022 enables knowledge exchange in a wide range of settings including peer-reviewed technical presentations, special panel sessions, interactive town-hall sessions, tutorials, as well as plenary talks and the exposition. Check our website often for updates on some of the highly anticipated tutorial topics presenting during the five day conference.
