The 5th IEEE Workshop on the Electronic Grid eGrid2020 goes fully virtual first week of November. The workshop offers exciting tutorials, panel discussions, technical sessions and key notes.

Among others, Minister Pinkwart, NRW Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalization and Energy (MWIDE) will present the strategy of North Rhine Westphalia to reach CO2 neutrality by 2050. C. Serre, Directorate General Energy, will explain us the European Commission’s Green Deal. Dr. Wildberger, Member-of-the-Board of E.ON SE, gives his views on connectivity and digitalization of the distribution grid. 

 

eGrid2020 offers IEEE Student Members special conditions to attend tutorials, keynotes and workshops. Note, that any full registration can invite up to three IEEE Student Members to attend a tutorial. Ask your supervisor! Five tutorials on (1) measurement techniques in modern converter driven grids, (2) control and protection of multiterminal grids, (3) SiC devices and packaging for solid state  ransformers, (4) grid connected batteries and (5) intelligent DC substations are given by world renowned experts and IEEE distinguished lecturers.
