Programs, Events and Services
TC 2 organizes the following events:
- IEEE International Workshop on Power Supply On Chip (PwrSoC): This biennial workshop is a leading technical workshop that addresses a broad range of technologies, covers the integration of moth modular and granular electronic power converters for multiple applications, and focuses on the integration of electrical power converters for multiple applications and addresses a broad range of technologies. The complete integration on-die and integration within a package are of prime interest. System performance is challenged to meet the demand for ever-greater cost reduction, current density, form factor reduction, high efficiency, optimized control, and voltage regulation in current and emerging applications.
TC 2 sponsors a Traveling Lecturer Program that is designed to facilitate lectures by eminent and emerging members of the profession at host institutions and local chapter or section events who broadly disperse knowledge and increase interaction between PELS members.
TC 2 administers the IEEE PELS Technical Achievement Award for Integration and Miniaturization of Switching Power Converters to recognize innovators and researchers who have made outstanding technical contributions to the advancement of power electronic circuits, components, devices, and/or systems toward a higher level of integration and/or miniaturization of switching power converters.
