CFP: 10th Annual Power and Energy Conference at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

The Power and Energy Systems group at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign cordially invites you to attend and present at the 10th Power and Energy Conference at Illinois (PECI) which will be held in the I-Hotel at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 28th February to 1st March, 2019.

The conference is organized by the IEEE Power Electronics Society / Industry Applications Society Joint Student Chapter at the University of Illinois each year. PECI 2019 assembles students pursuing energy-/electronics-related degrees and experts from industry and academia to engage in a forum for technical presentations and professional development.

Graduate student-organized and led, PECI fosters discourse broadly across the electric power and energy disciplines which include, but are not limited to:
• Power Systems
• Power Electronics
• Electric Machines and Drives, Electro-mechanics
• Renewable Energy Technologies
• Energy Markets and Demand Response

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is centrally located for IEEE Region 4 universities and major power and energy companies. However, PECI is not restricted to members from IEEE Region 4. Past attendees have come from local universities such as Wisconsin, Missouri S&T, and Purdue, and from universities around the globe. A large number of industry partners have also attended in the past, ranging from Ameren and Commonwealth Edison (ComEd) to Texas Instruments.

We will continue to offer the option to submit a poster for the poster session. While these will not get published on IEEE explorer, the potential to present a small research project and gain conference experience may also be beneficial.
The important dates are as follows:
