IEEE PELS Technical Achievement Award for Integration and Miniaturization of Switching Power Converters
The IEEE PELS Technical Achievement Award for Integration and Miniaturization of Switching Power Converters is established to recognize innovators and researchers who have made outstanding technical contributions to the advancement of power electronic circuits, components, devices, and/or systems toward a higher level of integration and/or miniaturization of switching power converters.
The recipient of the award will receive an award plaque and an honorarium of $1,500 USD. In addition, up to $1,000 USD will be reimbursed towards necessary conference registration, travel and accommodation costs incurred to attend the award ceremony.
If you would like to nominate an IEEE member for the IEEE PELS Technical Achievement Award for Integration and Miniaturization of Switching Power Converters Award, please go to our IEEE Society Awards Application System when the nomination period opens on 30 December 2021. To identify as a nominator, you will be asked at the beginning of this process to log in to your existing IEEE account or to register for a new one. To nominate a candidate, the nominator must submit a description of the merits of the nominee and the evidence of the achievements.
Applications received up to March 31st will be considered in the current year. The award is administrated by PELS TC 2– Power Components, Integration, and Power ICs. If you have any questions, please send them to PELS Awards Committee via firstname.lastname@example.org.
