Arthur W. Kelley received his B.S.E. from Duke University, Durham, North Carolina in 1979. He continued at Duke as a James B. Duke Fellow and received his M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in 1981, and 1984, respectively. From 1985 to 1987, he was employed as a Senior Research Engineer at Sundstrand Corporation, Rockford, Illinois, where he worked on aerospace power systems. He joined the faculty of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University in 1987 where he currently holds the rank of Associate Professor. His interests include PWM dc-to-dc converters, line-interfaced ac-to-dc converters and power quality, magnetic devices, magnetic materials, and computer aided analysis and design of nonlinear circuits.
